Iberville Parish is pleased to host the 2017 First Quarterly Conference of LATA. The Conference will be held March 15 through March 17, 2017 at the Belle of Baton Rouge Hotel, 102 France Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802. Lodging has been reserved at the Belle of Baton Rouge Hotel, which is conveniently located within walking distance of several restaurants and entertainment venues, as well as numerous popular tourist destinations, and is a short drive to the St. Gabriel Community Center.
To make a reservation at the group rate of $89 per night, please call 1-800-266-2692. Remember to reference the LATA group code “LAC15A” when making your reservation. The group rate will be honored for reservations made no later than February 28,2017 so please secure your accommodations soon.
If you wish to experience a round of golf at the “Sweet Spot of the South,” tee times may be reserved at The Island Country Club, a member of the Audubon Golf Trail. LATA tee times are available on Wednesday, March 15,2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for $60 per golfer (includes green fee and cart). Don’t miss lunch at The Island Grill, conveniently located inside the clubhouse, offering an amazing South Louisiana fare. (Lunch is NOT included in your green fee. Conference registration forms are being sent via email through LATA WildApricot software and can be accessed by the following link: www.laota.wildapricot.org. The early registration fee is $200 for members and $250 for non-members. A late fee of $25 will be added to registrations received after February 28, so please register early! Guests are welcome, but there will be a $50 guest fee to help defer the cost of meals and drinks at the social functions.
In addition to the conference agenda, we have planned a “A Taste of Iberville” event on Wednesday evening, March 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Gabriel Community Center, 1400 Simon LeBlanc Drive, St. Gabriel, LA 70776. A spectacular offering of food, fellowship and entertainment is on the menu and we look forward to a wonderful time.
