Dear Fellow LATA Members and Guests,
We are pleased and excited to announce our hosting of the 1st Quarterly LATA Conference of 2018 at The Grand Marais Ballroom and Pavilion, 919 North Lake Arthur Ave, Jennings, Louisiana 70546. The Grand Marais, when purchased was originally a lumber yard, has been transformed into one of Southwest Louisiana’s finest social event spaces. We mention this because it is our goal to create a “hometown” experience allowing all attending to connect with their fellow colleagues, while learning about what makes our little corner of the state so special. Bring casual clothes and dancing shoes for our crawfish boil and local music on Thursday evening. For those who do not eat crawfish, do not fret, we have plenty of other options lined up as a special treat. Friday we will have Ethics Training from Brett Robinson, so you will definitely want to be there to get this off the to do list. You will want to stay until the very end because we have some amazing door prizes for attending, with the grand prize being well worth the wait!
Early registration will be $175.00 for LATA members and $200.00 for non-members if payment is received by February 15th. Late registration is $200.00 for members and $220.00 for non-members. There will be a $35.00 charge for any guests attending the Thursday night events. You can register now online for the conference at www.laota.wildapricot.org.
