3rd Quarterly Conference 2017

The Rapides Parish Sales & Use Tax Department is hosting the 3rd Quarter LATA Conference! It is scheduled at the Paragon Casino and Resort, 711 Paragon Place, Marksville, Louisiana, September 6-8, 2017.

 

We have blocked hotel rooms at the resort starting Wednesday night.

Standard Guest Room (North or South Tower) – $92.00
Deluxe Atrium Guest Room – $119.00

 

Reservations can be made by direct phone call to the special group reservations number at the Paragon Casino Resort reservations office (800) 642-7777 and/or by fax to (318) 240-6601. Be sure to identify your reservation is for the LATA 3rd Quarterly Conference– LATA13G. Reservations must be made by August 15 to ensure our group rates.

If any of you are interested in a golf tournament at Tamahka Trails Golf Course on Wednesday, please email me as soon as possible at dandries@rpst.org. We will need at least 20 players to hold the tournament.

 

We have tentatively scheduled a Slot Tournament Thursday evening followed by dinner.

 

Our agenda is quickly filling up with an interesting slate of speakers. We have Tom McCormick with the Attorney General’s office, Sissy Franks, a renowned public speaker talking on Life Management, representatives from Alcohol Tobacco Control, Office of Administration, Legislative Auditor & hopefully the Lieutenant Governor’s office. There will be something for everyone! We will send out an agenda soon.
