3rd Quarterly Conference Information
September 11-14, 2012
Marksville, LA
Dear Fellow LATA Members and Guests:
The 3rd Quarter LATA conference is scheduled for September 11 – 14, 2012, at the Paragon Casino Resort located just off LA Highway 1 in Marksville, Louisiana.
For your convenience, we have blocked hotel rooms at the resort starting Tuesday night.
Standard Guest Room – $89.00
Deluxe Atrium Guest Room – $119.00
Reservations can be made by direct phone call to the special group reservations number at the Paragon Casino Resort reservations office (800) 642-7777 and/or by fax to (318) 240-6601. Be sure to identify your reservation is for the Louisiana Association of Tax Administrators 2012 3rd Quarter Conference – LTAS12G.
The golf scramble will be held at the Tamahka Trails Golf Course on Wednesday, September 12th at 8:00 a.m. The registration fee is $55.00 which includes green fees, cart and lunch.
We welcome any assistance in the form of contributions/donations. Contributions may include door prizes, goody bag items, golf prizes, or cash donations.

2nd Quarterly Conference Information
June 13-15, 2012
Dear LATA Members & Guests:
The 2nd Quarterly Conference of the Louisiana Association of Tax Administrators is set for June 13, 14, and 15, 2012 in Lafayette, LA hosted by Vermilion, Jeff-Davis and Lafayette Parishes. The conference location is Crowne Plaza located at 1801 W. Pinhook Road, Lafayette, LA.
The conference room rates are $87.00 per night for single rate, $97.00 for triple rate, $107.00 for quad rate and reservations must be made no later than May 18, 2012 to receive the conference hotel rate. Members can either call the hotel directly at 337-233-8120 and mention our group code “LTA” or make reservations via their website using this hyperlink: LATA
The conference early registration fee for members is $165.00 and $175.00 for non-members. A late registrations fee of $20.00 will be added to registration received after June 1, 2012, so please register early.
The golf scramble will be at The Wetlands Golf Course, 2129 N. University Ave., Lafayette, LA on Wednesday, June 13th at 7:45 a.m. Registration for the tournament is $70.00 per participant and it includes a box lunch. Proper golfing attire is requested (no jeans). As it stands right now, Wednesday night is free for you to enjoy on your own. Thursday night, we are arranging for a favorite local band to play at Scandals nightclub (a smoke-free environment) attached to the Crowne Plaza. The Steve Adams and BBC band plays it all!

1st Quarterly Conference 2012

Port Allen, LA
Dear Fellow LATA Members & Guests,
The First Quarter LATA Conference is scheduled for March 7 – 9, 2012, at the West Baton Rouge Conference Center in Port Allen, Louisiana. The Conference Center is located just off of I-10 at 2750 North Westport Drive.
For your convenience, we have blocked rooms at three hotels:
- Holiday Inn Express, 2860 North Westport Drive, (225) 343-9967
- Hampton Inn & Suites, 2755 Commercial Drive, (225) 389-6655
- Comfort Suites, 2880 North Westport Drive, (225) 343-4300
All three hotels are just steps away from the Conference Center and offer complimentary breakfast! The group rate for all hotels is $77 per night; however a few suites are available at the Holiday Inn Express and the Hampton Inn & Suites for $89 per night. (Our hospitality room will be located on the first floor of the Holiday Inn Express.) Be sure to identify that your reservation is for the Louisiana Association of Tax Administrators and make your reservation no later than February 15, 2012.
The quarterly golf scramble will be held at The Island Gold Course on Wednesday, March 7th at 8:00 am. The course is located at 23550 Myrtle Grove Road, Plaquemine, LA. The registration fee is $50 and includes green fees, cart, and lunch.
